As most of you probably know, we do wedding photography and wedding films. For the most part, people will book us for both photography and videography. Vary rarely, though, I will already be booked for photography in one place, and we'll get booked for a wedding film in another. That's what happened with Anna and Beau's Wedding Film at Cypress Barn.
Wedding Film at Cypress Barn: Anna and Beau
What's fun about this whole situation is that I wasn't there, so all the information I have is what I saw in the film. I think that's a good example of why creating these wedding films is so important. It's a great way to remember the day, but it's also great for those people that weren't there to experience the day.
The ceremony was outside the barn. There's a open spot with a pasture in the background, and they built an alter out of wood. They also used hay bails covered with material instead of chairs. I don't think I've ever seen that done before.
The reception was where the real fun happened. There was a photo booth, and a ton of people dancing. I'd say there was a good 40-50 people out on the dance floor, all ages from adults to a newborn being held by its mom. The best part was the special dance the guys did for Anna. They had her sit in a chair and a group of guys danced and sang to her. Then, the girls returned the favor and did the same thing for Beau.
I've said it several times, but I wish I could clone myself. I wish I could be at multiple weddings at the same time. Anna and Beau's wedding film at Cypress Barn showed me that I really missed out on a fun time. Well, I couldn't be there, but at least I got to live it through the film. Hope you enjoy it as well!
